Location: A middle-sized Canadian company based in Mississauga, near 401
Reason for this job: The person does this job is leaving.
The local colleagues and management are nice and friendly in Material department with about 11 persons
This job has standard benefit after 3 month probationary period, studying course support after 1 year, basically no overtime work is needed
Duties:
Tracking incoming shipments from Asia
Update containers status report after contacting freight forwarders for shipments status
Checking shipping documents and make sure the suppliers send copies and originals on time
Update MRP system; generate PO reports, weekly arrival report and other reports
Get quotations from freight forwarders, book containers before storage and update freight rates
Check freight forwarder’s invoice for the charges
Provide support to other department for shipments information
Education: Local college's Supply Chain/Logistics courses are prefered: such as PMAC or others
MRP system: It is better that you can use BANN or other MRP systems such as JDE Local same Supply Chain/Buying/Logistics experience is perfered
Fluent English, Chinese speaking will be an advantage.
